I’m a Registered Dietitian specializing in reproductive health from fertility through pregnancy and postpartum, and metabolic health.

I help women improve insulin resistance and metabolic health so they can support hormone balance, regulate their cycles, improve fertility, and prepare their bodies for pregnancy—without restrictive diets or eliminating the cultural foods they love.

After earning my Master of Science in Nutrition Education from Columbia University, my experience as an RD spans across adult, pediatric, and neonatal nutrition, in both clinical and private practice settings, giving me a comprehensive understanding of how nutrition impacts health across the lifespan.

My journey into preconception nutrition began in the NICU.

As a neonatal intensive care dietitian, I cared for some of the most vulnerable babies and witnessed firsthand how a mother's health before and during pregnancy could influence pregnancy outcomes.

It left me asking an important question:

What if we could identify potential challenges earlier and help build a stronger foundation for fertility before conception ever happens?

Which led me to opening my own private practice.

My Story

Just like you, I didn't find my way into hormone health and nutrition by accident.

I was led here—by my own body, and by the people I love.

Growing up, I watched family members struggle with Type 2 Diabetes. They were often told to give up their cultural foods, follow rigid rules, and cut out entire food groups. The advice was well-intentioned, but it stripped the joy from eating and was nearly impossible to sustain long term. I saw firsthand how a broken relationship with food doesn't heal a body—it often adds another layer of stress to one that's already struggling.

Then my own body spoke up.

I found myself dealing with intense food cravings, energy crashes, severe PMS symptoms, and blood work that showed my A1c slowly creeping upward. At the same time, chronic stress was taking a toll on my body. I eventually developed SIBO and IBS.

My body was telling me something wasn't working.

That experience taught me something I'll never forget: true healing isn't about being more restrictive or trying harder. It's about understanding what your body needs and supporting it consistently. By focusing on my metabolic health, balancing my blood sugar, nourishing my body adequately, improving my gut health, and addressing the stress that was keeping my body stuck in survival mode, I was able to restore my health and feel like myself again. Since then, I have been able to support hundreds of women to feel confident in their bodies.

It became clear that while we can't control every aspect of fertility or pregnancy, we can influence the foundation.
